HG Question....

I do not have a protein shake after cardio or training. I thought a protein shake would be too much or cause me to put on weight? Cardio at 5:30 and eat my first meal at 7:30. In the evenings, I usually eat about an 1 hour after training. I am not sure if my diet is correct and as mentioned I may need more carbs but not sure how to rotate them without putting on weight - my body LOVES carbs.

I want to be lean and tone - not skinny and no muscle (hate that look). The deca and anavar did give me lean muscle but I need more. Sassy - I have always wondered if I would look undernurrished at 140 - interesting you point this out. I do consider myself solid. I am not as lean and muscular as I want to be - hence the GH question.

What do you think?

No not at all protein does not cause you to bulk, post workout is the most important time to have them as your muscles have been depleted of all there protein. I am going to be frank here you need to get your diet more in line and do a bit more research regarding clean eating (see the stickys at the top of the board) before you consider running GH. Diet is the basic building block to any person pursuing a lean muscular body. GH is not some magic injection that is going to melt the fat away.

Not to avoid giving you cycle info on the GH, but the thing is that GH is an expensive supp and it is also something that you need to run for 3-6 months to "get results". By itself some people claim to get good results, some don't. You won't build muscle on GH by itself and if anything you may lose some bodyfat but the types of results also include things like improved well-being, smoother skin and those things that come with "youth" (and decrease w/ age).

You've already made some amazing accomplishments & I appreciate your desire to complete the transformation as you've already proven that you can accomplish so much. But like I said, if you are looking for a solid muscular body, at your height it is probably goign to be very hard to get down to & maintain 140 lb. I dont know what your build is like - if you have a small bone structure or what -- I have a medium build but I've got 23 yrs of weight training that has given me a really solid muscle base and the additional 10-15 lb of bodyfat that I just tend to buidl along w/ the muscle.

But looking at your diet, especially if you have followed that same diet for a while, your body is most likely stalled out and you can make some simple changes to the diet (which doesn't cost you anything, doesn't require running a controlled substance for 6 months and will only be good for your body). I bet your body would respond well to carb cycling and you may want to increase your fats some.

To give you a better idea of what exactly you are eating as far as proteins / fats / carbs and total calories,. I'd suggest you enter a day's meal plan into a food counts program like www.fitday.com to see what you are really eating and where you may be able to adjust the amounts to "shock" your body back into more effecient bodyfat burning.

Thanks for the info...... I will check into the website mentioned. I am having a tummy tuck in December to completely remove all excess skin from loosing weight. I am serious about this and will look further into adjusting my diet a little. I have been weight training for about 10-12 years and love it..... I will admit I am a little less experienced with adjusting diets. I have lost a lot but there comes a time you need to adjust as you get closer to your goals - I am at that point. Thanks again for your time ladies~~~~
