Hi Sassy,

I figured your the best one who can give me something, after all, I've been following your delt routine you have given me, and it's working great, thanks again.

Oh, BTW, my last post about the heavy weights, high reps thing, I only do once a week, but I think I am going to end that shit, they are killing me!!!!!

Anyway: What do you think is beter, I mean I'm getting bored with my routine, I have changed it up so many times, I don't know how to make it fresh anymore ?

A chick told me she has been using the same amount of weight for over 2 months now, but she changes her sets and reps every workout ? she says she varies anywhere from as little as 12 reps to as high as 30 all with the same weight, she also never goes higher than 30 lbs on any exercise .

Is this an ok idea ? should I change my weight ? sets, and/or reps ? all 3 or what ?

Can you throw me any ideas ?

Thanks !

There are million different ways you can switch up your lifting. But I think its good to pick one pattern to run for a few weeks anyway. If you switch it up so much its just hard to know if you are advancing or what because there's no continuity between previous & next sessions.

Personally I still like the heavy week / light week approach if you are doing 2 body parts / session. Make the first your larger muscle group and lift that heavy, and the 2nd bodypart light. Then the next time you do those 2 muscle groups, do the first (larger) muscle group lighter, 2nd heavier. So you are on 2 cycle rotation where each group gets worked 2x, but because one of those two is lighter, you get some recovery time as well.

Otherwise like Shadow suggested - its all about the TUT - I guess there are 3 ways you can alter a lift -- the weight, the number of reps and the duration of the hold at the contraction of the lift. Any of those can be varied.
