hey pick!

did you happen to catch this performance??

i wasn't much of a fan before, but i was pretty much blown away.

I sure didn't. Thanks for sharing.

I knew she was immensely talented, butt her antics distract from her skilzs.

I understand her logic representing herself as a "performance artist" (Madonna on steroids) because that's what sells.

If talent correlated with paychecks there woodn't be so many starving Juilliard Grads.

Thanks again.

she's odd/weird/quirky and she freely admits it...i never paid much attention to her before that howard stern interview...he has an amazing ability to take someone like lady gaga, who has this public theater that she has built and plays every day, and get them to be real...it was a very cool interview and she seemed very real and i really liked her by the time he got done...but that performance? it quite honestly brings tears to my eyes everytime i hear it...she's incredibly talented...i'm gonna go change my tampon now :lmao:

watching pop artist with just a mic, instrument (piano/guitar) and live vocals is my favorite format

That's why I was such a big fan of "Unplugged"

My idol when I was young was Keith Emerson (Emerson, Lake, and Palmer). When I finally got to see him in concert and watched him work the electronic synthesizers I was very disappointed. I thought he was a tremendous technician, knot a musician.

Then for his solo he played his version of Scott Joplin's ragtime music on a Steinway grand. I then knew he was great in the electronic and acoustic worlds. My admiration was stronger.

no homo though
