just curious... how good is pork for you??

i hardly eat pork,. i love it tho. should i include it in my diet? or keep it to a minimum?

As Tiggy said, if it is lean, feel free to enjoy it. Cut off the extra fat - usually along the edges.

There is no reason why you can't eat it a couple times a week. Sometimes, chicken gets REAL boring.

i've been known to pick up one of those cooked chickens from the local grocery Delicasent, bust out the ketchup, and enjoy lol

If its lean, your clean. Goes for pretty much everything. The loin itself is almost devoid of marbling, so thats a VERY safe bet, but pricey. trim like you mean it and most of the piggy is good news.

if you buy those pre-cut ham steaks they are usually pretty lean.

I've never really liked pork and have this hang up about getting poisened by it not being done all the way so if i do make it i end up burning it. As far as ham goes, yuck!

Trichomoniasis rarely is found in pork anymore due to the feed pigs are fed nowadays..... so you should be good without having to cook it to death...
