Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go!!!!

go read news reports, seriously, all the ones ive read agree, the officiating was horrible and one-sided. so sure, the steelers are the champs, but they dont deserve to be.

well because those bad calls were made, it offsets everything that was to come afterwards

okay, so Jackson gets called for Pass Interference, the TD gets reversed. Fuck it, I'm feeling generous. Give Seattle the TD instead of the field goal.

Steelers 21, Seahawks 14.

and, because I'm feeling generous, we'll ignore the fact that the Steelers converted 100% of their 4th and goals during the season, and we'll just say they play it safe and they kick a field goal instead.

oh, guess what. Steelers STILL win, 17-14.

What you whiney-ass bitches forget about is

a) Roeth's run happened on 3rd down. The Steelers had another down to kick a field goal
b) Jackson's interference didn't shut down the Seahawks, that was the only field goal that Brown DIDN'T miss (guess it was the ref's that summoned a wind to blow Brown's field goals off, eh?

so in fact, it is NOT 14 points from those 2 plays that changed, it is, in fact, only 8.

Give the Seahawks both, and guess what? Steelers STILL WIN.

bitches. *hands you some Vagisil*

Actually, you are wrong. Not all the sportswriters out there think it was the penalties that killed the Seahawks. Some think the Seahawks did it to themselves. Some thought some of the calls were questionable, but in the end, Seattle did it to themselves. There are some reporters who think the whiney little bitches should just quit being whiney little bitches.

right.

steelers didn't earn it.

they only beat Cincinnati, Denver, and Indianapolis on the way to the Superbowl, on the road.

Steelers had 4 victories during the playoffs, all on the road, against the 4 teams in the NFL with the best record.

but they didn't earn it.

Boy, that 5th Super Bowl sure feels good! YEAH!

ur saying a team that came in at 6th seed, defeating seeds 1,2,3 in the afc and then beating the 1 in the nfc doesnt deserve it? even if most of the calls that were considered "bogus" went the other way, the game still wouldve went to the steelers simply because of the big plays. they were keeping hasslebeck from getting 3rd downs the entire game, and the seahawks made not one play in anyway comparable to the parker 75 yd TD run, ben's bomb to ward near the goaline, or randle-el's td pass. look at that and now tell my why they didnt deserve it.

and of course your going to be biased based on the fact that you are a steelers fan. they were NOT questionable calls, they were straight up bullshit calls. the Offensvie Pass innerference call was complete bullshit. in the reply u can see all u did was put his hand on his chest, there was absolutely NO pushing at all. then the Rothlesberger TD was not even a TD and he knew it. you could see it in his face after he moved the ball when he was down. And also the first down that was brought back for a holding call, that the reaply also showed was bullshit. so the Seahawks got robbed plain and simple.

The offensive pass interference was legit. He pushed Hope and clearly gained an advantage... worse yet... he did it right in front of the ref. No one but Jackson is to blame there.

Ben was in: http://www.youtube.com/w/Steelers-TouchDown-#1?v=vqzw3lvmJmk&search=Steelers touchdown

Now please shut the fuck up about that.

AAccording to Levy the head referee, Locklear was repeatedly warned about hooking Haggans around the neck... and he did it again on that play. The hold was legit. He was hooking Haggans around the neck AFTER BEING WARNED 3 TIMES PREVIOUSLY.

The only call that was BS was Hasselbecks tackle penalty AFTER HIS FUCKING INTERCEPTION!

Bottom line... Steelers made big plays... Seattle was content to throw 5 yard passes.

Whatever u say steelers!!!!....did I hear J. Porter complaining about bad referees after the game vs. Indianapolis? Yes he did. That doesn't mean the complaints weren't legit. What would've happened if the Steelers had lost the game Vs colts? We would've the forums stuffed with steelers whinners. And it could've been very convenient to say "oh well, don't blame on the referees 'cause they didn't fumble the ball at the 1 yrd line". That's just not honorable. Just remember that every single call matters especially when ball possession or point on the scoreboard are involved....not only bad biased calls can take away point off the scoreboard, but it's also momentum shifting.

No matter what the say, the Seahawks got robbed in the Super Bowl? Why? I believe it was just plain dirty business. Unlike the Steelers, the Seahawks is a "local team". Outside of SEA-TAC and surrounding areas it's hard to find loyal seahawk fans. My point is that I can imagine the NFL people rubbing their hands with the revenues that steelers gear sales would leave before and after the S.B.....I smell fraud here!!!. Yes, the NFL helped the Steelers to win the S.B. just like they helped the Cowboys in the 90's, 49ers in the 80's and the Pats in the 00's. In times where money is getting short, player's salaries skyrocketing every year, of course that Dinasties will get help more than ever regardeless of the team. The key is to overcome all the obstacles to become a dinasty. NFL is a business like any other and they don't care about the real fans. Football games will be available only through cable/satellite broadcasting, but since most homes in Amercia are already hooked up with either one, expect to pay a small fee to watch the games. When? Right after NFL sunday ticket agreement with DirecTV expires. NFL netwrok already wants to broadcast Thanksgiving day football games.
Like I said, NFL is a business and dirty or not, that's what I call "diversify".

And Steelers fans....please admit that those calls in the Super bowl were straight up jokes!there's nothing wrong with that...I mean your are the champions anyway.

well, considering the NFL admitted outright that the officiating was jacked in the colts game...there is a big difference.

You can believe everything you want. You need to state which calls were bogus, so we can explain to you why, for the most part, you were probably wrong.

and Ass Face, where did you see that remark about Locklear being warned?

found an interesting article here:

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5317236

"By the letter of the rules, Locklear committed holding 10 times (he was flagged twice). Seattle left tackle Walter Jones should have been called six times. Pittsburgh tackles Marvel Smith and Max Starks should have been called four times each. "

It was an article or interview with Levy... I wish I would have bookmarked it. Locklear was holding Haggans all game. If he doesn',t Assholecrack is dead meat.
