I have my kid five days a week. He goes to his mothers on Tuesday & Wednesday. My mom keeps him a couple Fridays or Saturdays each month so I can go out. I think it's easier on the kid having one main home.

But how do you determine what home that is then?

I mean in a lot of situations it usually plays out that way, one parent is the primary caretaker but there are a lot of 50/50 arrangements now and so far I read recently that kids seem to do well with it. That's what I would have wanted if my parents split.
