Help with diet

Hey guys can you please give me some suggestions on a daily meal plan i really want to lower body fat currently approx 20% but i would like to also increase lean muscle mass. 37 years old 197-204 lbs depending how much water i am holding that day thats another problem 5'8" have been lifting since age 13 off and on but would really like to get serious now maybe even compete for fun anyway any help you guys can give me would be appreciated

Well you need to stick around and read..There are plenty of diets on here that you will see .We all Eat Basicly with the same understandings, and may tweak it to how are bodies react.Now don't get ahead of yourself( competing ect...) We need to set goals that we can stick too.If i told myself i was going for MR -O, TWO things would happen...#1 i would end up doing things more that i should--trying to see drastic changes that would probably hurt me insread of help, and TWO when the negative outcome came along(whatever it would be) I would lose my drive, maybe give up, and feel like a biger peice of shit !.. o-k so im being drastic, but catch my drift Bro.....So lets get a diet in check and start from there, slowly but shirly ! Cardio//diet plan/cardio/diet plan///ect.........Then in a few months we go to step TWO- Bringin on the lean MASS Brother !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Chris69 great advise maybe I am getting ahead of myself I am so goal driven that I thought that might help maybe I will go with a goal that is more attainable thanks again for the great advise bro have a great day.
