help! possible injecton site infection?

Bro, I have had many an episode like the one you explain. Especially in my beginning years. The worst part is your mind running wild and scaring the shit out of yourself. Relax. Normally an infection will be warm to the touch, you may develop a fever and become ill like the flu. I have had it hurt terrible for a week and been OK. Just keep an eye on it and it will slowly go away. If it does start to show sign of infection then you will need antibiotics(cipro) and see doc.

I see ciproflaxin was mentioned as the antibiotic to treat infection. Could someone also use erythromycin. I looked into the indications for use of erythromycin and bacterial infection was listed. A bacterial infection would be what we are treating correct?

Anyone who has dealt with an infection due to injection sterility what was the antibiotic used?
