Help nooby with Supps

Hi...
I've been working out for about two years now, currently 16 and have never as so much as taken an enrgy bar before.
Im kind of nervous about taking a supplement or something.
Im rather overwieght and am interested in taking the product hydroxycut with my workout and diet to tone down and get cut.
I plan on using the reccomended dosage...
My questions are as follows...
Would hydroxycut decrease my muscle strength, that is shorten my gains?
And can I use hydroxycurt in a pyramid program?...To help gain strenght and get cut at the same time...
What if I dont have too much cardio...And just stick to lifting?
Would I still lose wieght??

One more question...
Ive read around the forum alot so far and people keep referiing to a "Canadian version" of hydroxycut....Is there any differences since ive been looking around and noticed that some sites have different ingrediants then the bottle that I have, which is Canadian version.

Your not gonna loose a decent amount of fat unless u have a proper diet and do cardio work. I suggest taking protein shakes, preferably Optimum brand beacuse its decently priced and works great. Do that and balance out what you eat, dont eat too much carbs and make sure to get enough protein. Eat about 1gram of protein for every pound u weigh. A little less doesnt hurt though. Just do that and keep up with cardio work and u should start sheddin fat pretty soon.
 
Yeah, Lee's advice is pretty good. Get your diet in line 1st. Check out the Diet board and look for some information on CKD diets, they work pretty well if you have alot of fat to loose.

I'd hold off on the hydroxycut right now because a) it's not recommended for people under the age of 16 and b) you really do need to get your diet sorted out 1st and not rely on some thing like hydroxycut as a crutch.

To answer you question though, in my experience i would say yes hydroxycut, or other ephedrine based fat burners do decrease my strength and hamper my gains.

At your age you'd be better off trying to incorporate more cardio than taking fat burners. Best time to do cardio is first thing in the morning before eating breakfast. Just swig down some water to hydrate yourself and go for a jog.
 
diet should be on 1. place if you're trying to loose fat.

cdn version of hydroxy wont help you that much,its waste of $$,its ephedra free,there are products that are cheaper and work whay better than cdn hydroxycut
 
A question...
Lets say that money isnt an issue...
Is Canadian Hydroxycut completly different than the american counter-part?
Is it just a lump of pills that do nothing..?
Surely it should be doing someting if the pills are being sold.
