Help me pick out a pair of captain crush grippers.

I did the same too....lol! I would have gone with the 150 and 200 though.....100 will be REALLY light...and 150 is pretty light. Work your way up to doing the 150 for like 50 reps and take it around with you....you'll be amazed at how many people CAN't do any reps

I was hesitant about the 100's, but my grip is really sad at the moment. I did some static holds at the gym today and I was able to double overhand static hold 275 for like 2 seconds haha.

How much do you deadlift with double overhand grip? I still don't know if I can do the 150's yet. I can't wait till next week. I should get it by Thursday or Friday.

I can deadlift at least 405 double over.....havent maxed it out though

good luck man your grip strength will increase super fast. Do some static holds, grippers, and gripper static holds along with some double over deads and your grip will be solid soon enough

how so? these can have up to 260 pounds of tension

i know the captain crushers can go up to 350 pounds n wateva, but lets be realistic 260 pounds is more then he will probably ever need unless he wants to be a pro powerlifter or deadlift 800 pounds

oh I didnt know they went to 260. Still it is hard to measure...ie heavy grippers are much easier...the 150 is quite a bit easier than the #1 CoC gripper which is supposed to be only 140. I dunno man maybe that one is good but I just like the other grippers.

YOu should get 2-3 so you can do a warmup and workout. I got the 80lb not realizing just how easy it would be. I do not have much grip either. To do it again I'd probably 80, 100, 140. I think there are accessory things that add a few lbs of resistance to bridge you to the next level.

damn where you been rob

COC Grippers are tough. Buy a NO1 and practice holding it shut and you'll be good for a lot more than 225.

To put it in perspective, I can dead 405 like ice cream but NO2 is tough to close.

What is your max double overhand? Just curious...

Actually overhanded I'm not incredible because my left is weaker (tendonitis issues), probably 425 overhanded but I've picked up 550 raw mixed grip.

Just received my Heavy grippers today.

The 100's are unblieveably easy. They're only slightly harder than my previous pair I bought at the sporting goods store. The 150 will be a good challenge for me. I can close it once if I use all my strength to. Other than that the 150 should be a good training point for me. Looking forward to 200's after this.
