Estimators give you, as the name suggests, an estimate. Last time I went for a 1RM I did the following:

88 x 5
132 x 5
176 x 3
198 x 3
220 x 1
242 x 1
265 x 1
275 x 1 Miss

Have a ballpark figure in mind, and aim to hit it. Of course, that's no reason to attempt more :)
 
i would try yer old 1rm first and see how easy it is for you. if you can rep it 5 times, up the weight 25 pounds, if u can rep that 3 times, try 315
