Why not use a statin if cholesterol is an issue? Red Yeast Rice is a statin and very similar to one of the fda approved meds, but why not go for the real stuff?
There might be a reason to stay away from statins. I would just like to hear it. I'm talking about Lipitor and Zocor, BTW. Some scientists think that the statins are going to be the aspirin of the 21st century; very benign, plenty of uses.
Does anyone have an opinion about the use of these drugs?
