here's how I do it:
work it into various casual conversations - joking around, playing around
ALWAYS toss a finger or 4 up there while you are hitting it, especially when she's on top
then one night, you get her ridiculously steamed up - do whatever works, but make sure that you two are ripping each other's clothes off on the walk from the car to the house

There's some good advice there. It sounds like your girl isn't comfortable with the entire backdoor situation. You need to show her that you can get her off while going down on her, and teasing the ass. Maybe try half a finger. After a few times of this she'll be telling you to go deeper.
