Help for my girl

You need to start back with the basics first:
  • age?
  • height?
  • weight?
  • current diet (be as detailed as possible with weights and measures for calories, protein, carbs, fat)
  • level of current activity
Understanding her nutritional intake and level of activity are key to changing her physique. Mixing protein and water is only one small part.

Get back with the above information and someone will be able to help you.

just doesnt really want to do all that but ill see what i can do... her stats are the following
age? 19
height? about 5'8
weight? 145lbs
current diet (be as detailed as possible with weights and measures for calories, protein, carbs, fat) - not currently on one is looking to start one... needs to know the "BASICS" first...

level of current activity - gym 3 days a week and loves to play tennis...

Get her bodyfat checked....weight is subjective and "losing weight" is not necessarily a good goal.....depending on her level of bodyfat, that may be a better goal....

And by the term "diet" that means what does she eat everyday, what times does she eat & when does she eat in relation to her daily activities like working out?? (this is important)

And what does "gym 3 days a week" entail?? Lifting, cardio only, both??
 
Roughly, as a guide, she wants to take in 1g of protein for each lb of BW. That is a general amount though.

As for water, she should be drinking about 1 gallon a day. more if you live somewhere really hot, or her activity level is high.

I put together a post with a TON of good threads .... called "Top Threads, Must Read" or something like that. :) It has a list of sample diets and helpful info.
 
My wife just replaces dinner with fruit and a 60g protein shake. I know this may get some flak, but she says it works very well.
