WHATS UP BROTHERS.I HAVE BEEN CYCLING FOR A FEW YEARS NOW.AFTER EVERY CYCLE I WOULD TAKE MY CLOMID, AND I WOULD BE FINE MEANING THE WAY I FEEL. ITS BEEN 5 WEEKS SINCE I HAVE BEEN OFF AFTER CYCLING STRAIGHT FOR 7 MONTHS. I TOOK MY CLOMID FOR 4 WEEEKS. I AM SO DEPRESSED NOW ITS DISGUSTING, ALL MY FRIENDS KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH ME ESPECIALLY MY GIRLFRIEND. HAS ANY BODY GONE THROUGH WHAT I AM EXPIERCING RIGHT NOW. PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU GOT THROUGH IT. PLEASE, IS THERE ANY THING I COULD TAKE TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER. PLEASE SOMEBODY RESPOND. THANKS

there is half your problem bro 7 months straight, too long. Right now your hormones are all over the place. give it some time, with that length of a cycle you will need several months for your body to return to normal

Dude there is all kinds of things that can be done to help u feel better..it depends on how serious this is.. my.02 on the mid to moderate level, funny as this may sound but lots of cardio. this has been proven to relieve stress/depression..no lie and it works well for me in more stressfull times..30-40min a day 5-6days..Also, herbal supplements provide alot of assistance such as st. johns wort, valarian root, kava kava..trust me these work wonders..last.. prescription drugs i.e. xanax, valium but do some reasearch on these first..

damn conan i feel for yah bro its hard i went through the same shit just keep your head up and whatever you do dont stop working out even if you doing less weight , thats were i fucked up and lost all my gains, i stopped eating , even didnt feel like doing shit .i can relate to how you feel i just wish i had someone there to keep me up and moving ahead.
goodluck bro youll be okay

One thing you must always remember is that depression is completely normal!! even without using gear.. You also have to understand that it usually gets worse before it gets better, now you may be at the low point and you will start to come around. Just don't do anything of serious nature while in the midset your are in, trust me you will regret it. Depression will make you do fucked up things, just hang in there......
e mail me if you want to talk or have any other questions...

Conan dont underestimate the effectiveness of herbs like St. Johns wort, I always use it post cycle as I get real depressed to when im finished. Also try to get some sun or go tanning it always seems to make me feel better-good luck bro

been there bro!!

i was there bro!! i wanted to quit my job i didnt want to hang ot with my friends i didnt want to call anyone, i thought ewveryone was out to get me. i took the st. johns wort and l-tyrosine and the cardio, man blast the cardio man that really helps, listen to music and the weights, who cares if you arent lifting enough it will come back...

i too came off a nine month cycle about 6 weeks ago i felt like shit.
almost broke up with my fiance didnt want to be touched.thought people were talking about me.it actually went away after 6 weeks so i started my cycle again today.i used 200mg of clomid a day for about 4 weeks along with some primo.strength was great just off the primo but it didnt help with depression.if youd like email me we can talk

shit man.....

it always hard to hear about bros who have depression. its hard when youre depressed. everything becomes tedious and may seem pointless at times. I have had bouts of serious depression in my time, but usually after a traumatizing experience instead of a chemical imbalance; which seems like what you have going on. 7 months sounds like a long as time to be on gear from everything I've been learning here on the board. your body has become accustomed to not having to use its own supply of test. what you need to do now is the following:

1. eat right. high energy foods, stay away from junk food.. and drink a lot of water.
2. keep exercising, try to run a few times a week or BOXING is good, too
3. meditate... sit somewhere you are completely comfortable, where you are not using any muscles to support yourself up, close your eyes, maybe have some incense going.. and just allow your thoughts to flow. try not to focus on anything in particular, just let thoughts flow like a river through your mind. this will help you mentally.
4. set goals, realize why you do what you do from day to day and where you are trying to be.
5. give your body time. you put chemicals in your body for 7 months straight. now you need to let your body realize it needs to produce its own.

keep your head up,

DOCV

good post docV. i like your advice. conan, hang in there, brother. do what the doc says but also stay in the gym.... there's nothing worse then the feeling of unaccomplishment day after day. believe me, i know it all too well. you'll be okay... stay on the board too and be in contact w/ bros like us that know what you're going through. peace and take it easy.

I have been depressed like you say--5 month cyle for the summer and now I have hit rock bottom--fina really killed me mentaly! have to admit useing "perscription" drugs,,,,,,,

Naughty, don't be embarassed about using perscription drugs, this shit is perfectly normal, and extremly serious. You should feel lucky to have the drugs so that the depression can help get solved. Just hang in there, and go about your normal life, just don't let it affect the important things in your life, because it will pass with time....

It happenes to alot of us........

Hey buddy.........I know what you are going through. I have had some serious depression for the past year and finally got the strength to go to a doctor. The longer you put things off, the worse it can get. I was prescribed Paxil and it seems to be working. I have been on it for 2 and a half weeks.
Regarding your long cycle, your levels are way out of whack and depression is expected. I am not sure if you party, but certain "things" will drop your serotonin levels way the fuck down. This is way too common for us bodybuilders. My best advice would be to see a doc or try some of the over the counter stuff mentioned like St John's Wort, Inositol, etc......
In addition, talk to as many people as you can as that is therapy in its own right....you will find that you are not alone and many many people are going through what you are experiencing now. GOOD LUCK to you and put a plan together my friend - there is light.......you just have to let it in........
Just think - all you have to do is make an appointment - see the therapist - and talk... and you will start to feel better - THAT'S IT! The hardest part is getting the motivation to pick up the friggin phone........but you gotta do it! Peace!
