I have been working out for a couple of years and I am at a point where the results seem to be non-existant...... I have recieved all types of advise I worked out with a trainer but sheesh its expensive..... I went over my diet with the trainer fearing it's that he said it was fine.
The newest piece of advise came tonight from a man in his 60's he looks pretty good and told me he has worked out with the best.... at some point or another.
He has given me advise before and he generally seems like he wants to help.
He came up to me and said "What are you trying to do" get more cut more defined ETC.... I said yes he told me to do this...
Do 15 reps at a weight I can handle and when It starts to really burn lower the weight 20pds and pump it out.
He said the way I am currently working out it will take forever.
I have been following the posts on this board and I don't think anybody would steer me wrong.
I am very determined and really need the help.
With all the advise people give out it's very easy to become mislead.

Thanks
CC :D

You dont need to do high reps..go as heavy as you can for 8-10... for 3 sets...on your third set you can drop the weight by like 10 lbs and then burn them out. What is your diet like now? I would do 3 exercises per bodypart..go HEAVY..if you want to get tone..cut up etc..you gotta lift heavy..no light weight...high rep shit..will get you no where! Post a sample of your diet...90% of it all is your diet.

poor baby :( if you wanna get more ripped, you gotta slowly pull back on the calories; how many are you taking in now? low weight, high rep, and the burn = bullshit.

Crystal Chick's Diet

K Ladies and Gems heres the Diet

Weight Training Days
Meal 1 3/4 Cup Oatmeal 40 Grams Protein
Meal 2 Protein Shake 1 Tablespoon Flax
Meal 3 1/2 Cup Brown Rice 5oz Chicken Veggies
Meal 4 (PreWorkout) 5oz Sirloin (Laura's Lean Beef) Veggies and Flax

Meal 5 (PostWorkout) (Maltodextrin ie Carbo Force) and 40grams Protein (wait 1 hour)

Meal 6 Salad with Oil Viniger 5oz of Fish

Non Weight Training Days
Everything is the same except the 1/2 of rice increases to 3/4 cup the reason why carbs are higher on Cardio Days is to replenish for weight training days..... the person who is helping me with diet suggested this

Thank You All In Advance For Any Help
CC ;)

Well, the diet doesn't look to bad. Do you stick to that diet all the time, if so, do you allow yourself a cheat day every once in a while. The reason you may not be losing weight is because of calorie intake. You may want to start out just adding in 3 or 4 cardio sessions a week and keep the calories the same, if that doesn't give the results you want, start reducing calorie intake, carbs first, and do so at about a 200 calorie reduction a week, dieting is a marathon, not a sprint.
