I want to make a protein bar out of this recipe, but i am not sure how to cook it. Can someone tell me what to add to it and how to cook it so they will come out right. Thank you.
Cinnayam Bar - 1 serving rectangular piece
3 ounces yam – 20g carbs, 2g protein, 3g dietary fiber
2 ounces fresh apple – 6g carbs, 1g dietery fiber
1/5 cup Whole grain old fashioned quaker oats – 20g carbs, 3g protein, 3g dietary fiber
8 raw kernels Macadamia nuts – 2g carbs, 2g protein, 2g dietary fiber, 15g fats
2 egg whites – 6g protein
3 tbsp MLO milk and egg protein – 31g protein
4 teaspoons cinnamon
1/8 cup stevia
water or milk ?
Total: 503 Calories
44g of protein
48g of carbs
16g of fats
9g of dietary fiber
i don't have any yam powder but im thinking of making my own by dehydrating a yam in the oven at 130 degrees farenheit for one hour and either blending it up or dicing it. As for the oats i will grind half in a blender and the other half will be left whole for chewing when finished baking.
this protein bar recipe i made up today looks delicious. i want one of these bars right now. Any help?
