Help a mommy out yo...

or, you could NOT make a donation and tell her you did.
and give her one of your used, crusty dildos.

she'll love that.

Might be too late - but here are some thoughts from another kindergarten teacher ... ;)

~gift cert to Starbucks, Wal-Mart (great for school stuff), Target, Michaels (or other craft store), VISA gift card

~NOTHING with apples on it, #1 teacher, etc.

~Homemade bread, if you are a good cook - OMG, I got a loaf of homemade pumpkin bread that was TO DIE FOR.

Candles, lotions, frames, etc are nice - ALL gifts or sentiments are nice - but teachers get a lot of that stuff. And scents are so personal - what you love, they may hate or be allergic to. Candy is also overdone. Homemade knick-knack gifts are sweet and a wonderful thought, but most teachers get so much stuff that takes up space and is unwanted. This is NOT to sound ungrateful, like I said, ALL gifts or sentiments are wonderful and made people feel great.

Damn man I'm paying $500.00 a month. I hope my kids teacher is not the lowest paid around.

Seriously,

Most early education teachers buy a lot of their own teaching supplies for the classroom. As we know, teachers are grossly underpaid, why not get her a gift certificate to a teacher's supply store or an art/craft supply store.

I ended up getting her a giftcard to Target (who doesn't love target?) and then the whole movie night thing. Unpopped bowl of popcorn with 2 free movies tickets, sodas, and assorted candy in it. There's this really quaint well known salon in the area of the school so I also picked her up a gift cert for a mani and pedi. (from mom)

I was at mini me's holiday party for a little over an hour yesterday and came out with more glitter glue crusties, sparkles, elmer's, puffballs, and paper cuts all over me. I felt pretty confident about the mani after that. :worried:
