Headaches on Keto diet

I've been on the diet for three days I have a pretty bad headache most of the day today I'm not sure if it's related.
 
Same here congrats on starting the keto diet!!!

Ive just finished my fourth day, for 2 days now ive had constant headaches, Im testing myself for keto tommorow (bought the stix today). Im guessing its related, I also feel a lil exhausted in the mornings, more than usual anyways.

Hopefully im in keto by now.

If you mind me asking whats your diet/excersice plan so I can compare.
 
your body is switching over, and you are getting used to it. I haven't had any problem since my first week.

Just make sure you are eating enough, keep your fat and protein high, so your blood sugar will not bottom out.
 
The first week of my keto diet was pure hell. I had a problem with the headaches also so I started drinking more than a gallon of water a day. The headaches went away, but of course that could have been my body adjusting to the diet, but it might be worth a try.
 
I had em too whild on keto. They usually go away after the first week. If they don't, drink more water and take some Advil, it should help.
 
water, water and more water. Remember to eat. without carbs it is a challenge to get our calories in. pluse ketosis has a natural appitite suppressing quaility. So be sure to log what you eat.
 
Today I feel GREAT!

I haven't had a headache today I feel really good. I'm going to buy some ketostix to see if i'm in Keto. I'm pretty sure I am, I think I ate too many carbs today.

I'm not eating enough meals and getting enough calories. Here is what I ate today:

Meal 1

3 Eggs
250 cals
16.8 gs fat
2.0 gs carbs
21 gs protein

3 slices Ham
155 cals
9 gs fat
2 gs carbs
14.9 gs protein

2 slices of low carb bread
4 gs carbs per slice
8 gs total

2 slices cheddar cheese
10 cals
.6g fat
.3g carbs
1.1g protein

these are only approximations according to calorieking.com.
It's 5:39 Pm I'm on meal 3 I can probably get 2 more in. The only problem is I might eat too many carbs, I might try getting a protein shake or some sort of meal replacement shake in. Can someone give me some recomendations?

Oh and can anyone give me some more ideas on what to eat?

I'm getting a little tired of eggs, chicken, salad, hamburger. I don't mind eating them but if someone could give me some variations on these and how to give it a little more flavor I'd appreciate it.

wow, third day in keto +im getting headaches too. Last time i did CKD, i was fine my first week, but now its kinda tough to focus at work...
