Hello I am new to this site I am a 24 year old female 5'6 165 lbs and I am looking to loose weight. I hVe tried everything under the sun and I mean it. Right now I am doing the wight lose cure by Kevin T and i am about to start the HCG. I have read lots of success stories and so on and I was wondering if any of you women have done it and if so how was it? I am only doing it once i have to inject 200 units once a day for 6 weeks. Please let me know

No its not a joke and yes I know what it is but I have researched it and there are clinics that do it. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried it? Look at Kevin T's new cure book that is where I got it from.

Well, I would like to see exactly what you have tried. :) Can you list some things? HOw about your diet? What you eat, how much, how often?

Im sure there is something you have not thought of to get you where you'd like to be without touching needles IMO... :)

likeI told you in the pm you sent me...you dont need this and what you need is for the girls or even shadow to help you.....I think the fact that you are ready to inject hcg shoes that you are desperate to get in shape witch is a good thing but hcg is not the answer.there is a lot to learn and a lot of people to learn from here on this site.....the girls on this site love helping each other in every way possible and yes you are going to get some flames for this being one of your first post but right you should.

do like I said.start from scratch put your tail between your legs and ask the girls"some of witch are pro's,models and have great sucsess story's and have over come worse then you" for help.make a log thread asking for help.post every day what you eat when you eat it and how you train.if you do this and let them help you and stick yo it you will get more out of that then ever get out of hcg.......

hCG is a pregnancy hormone. If you are looking to lose weight, it is pretty much the last thing that will help you. Knowing this, I HIGHLY doubt anyone here has experience with taking it to lose fat.

I did a very simply Google search for "hcg and effect on the body" and came up with a few things:

There is a VERY SMALL amount of TRUE SCIENTISTS out there that think it MAY help with fat loss. But the results are very inconclusive and often cannot be duplicated. Not to mention, several of the studies I read showed no statisitcal differences between a group on hCG and the placebo group. And of course, every group that DID see fat loss was on an EXTREME DIET - about 500 calories per day. And the groups of people were OBESE, not just wanting to lose a few pounds.

im still learning all this myself but if i can be of any help i would glady help you--feel free to PM me--you have the finest men and women on these boards teaching the truth which is diet cardio and training there is no easy way..besides IMO doing it this way it also teaches you the way you should eat longterm and always keep your body in shape!! :heart:

I'm not sure about with women, but HCG raises E in men. I'd expect the same with women. Not to mention I have not heard of one female competitor using it for anything other than pregnancy!

BTW, I'm curious to why all the input from needtogetaas here? Shadow has a reason to be contributing to women. From looking through posts from needtogetaas, I see nothing associated with the womens board. Just hate to see more bs on this board.....

That said - yes - hcg WILL RAMP estrogen in men....same thing in women.

I have over 35k post and not even 1/10 of them have any thing to do with marketing any thing..lets not start fights over here bro.I help as many people as a can as best I can.I am far from marketing driven.

you know this girl pm'd me before she ever even maid a post on this board.asked me about hcg and I could have told here dont take that,what you really need is some of this or some of that.but no I did what I would do to any one that sends me a pm like that.I send them to the place I know they can get the best help If I cant help them myself.when I talk about a products or rec amend a product to some one its not because I get a thing out of it."lets make it clear I dont get any thing for it" but its because I want to help them and I really do beleive it can help them or its a good thing for them to look into trying.

just like shadow said.I know how to act in deferent forums.very rarely do I come over to the womens board and when I do its only to say hi to some of the girls tell them they look great or post a bit in one of there logs and then I am on my way about my bis...every so often I feel like I may have some thing to add that could help some one so I do so tastefully and leave it at that and again go on my way.thanks for caring so much but the women have never had a problem with me or my post and I dont think there about to start...have a nice day :)
 
Sorry for all the Problems I have caused. I did Talk to needtoget first because when i signed on I had no idea what I was doing I didn't even know there was a womens side. So he has been helping me. As far as the HCG I am In school for ultrasounds I know about HCG it does raise your estrogen. With the diet it last 6 weeks and what it does is it triggers your hypothalmus to release the stored fat in your problem areas leaving your structural fat and muscle un affected. There are clinics that are not associated with kevin t that do hcg for weight loss. And yes the FDA dosent have you do it because they make more money in Diet pills. I have excercised all the time for hours doing class after class eating small portions. I have done no carbs and man did i loose weight but gained it all back. I have tried everydiet pill under the sun with every ingrediant. Every diff vitamin. Right now i am on 90 % organic. No refined sugurs or artificial sweetners. One of my problems is i don't have as much time to hit the gym with school and family. I also eat late because i don't get home early. But other then that i should be a hell of a lot thinner than i am now. I do walk alot with weights and try to do urban rebounder 3 times a week. So tell me girls what else should i do. I am 5"6 165

Post up your current diet and training program, with very specific details. I am sure we can help.

BTW "training for hours and eating really small portions" are not the answer. In fact, they are about the OPPOSITE of what you should be doing. No wonder you did not see results.
 
You've done what everyone who goes on what "the media" tells us to do to "lose weight". The reality is you need to go back to basics. Your body is a perfect biochemical machine. It WANTS to run efficiently. You don't need all these pills and weird programs to force your body to do what it wants to do naturally. You just need to fuel it & exercise it like it wants to.

The Shadow Project is a really good program. Also just to help w/ your understanding of how nutrition works, I HIGHLY recommend the Bill Philips BODY FOR LIFE book. (Skip the women's version -just get the original ) - you can get it at your local library probably or wherever. The thinghs you need to get results are get your eating straight, get some basic training & exercise in and then make it all part of your lifestyle. Sometimes it takes alittle work to figure out how to make it fit your schedule, but you always find a way. Don't let the stresses & crazy schedules of your life drive you -- there's always time to get things in. All of us have done it w/ all the various stresses & demands of our lives so there's really no excuse to be a "victim" of your schedule. Anyway - that book lays out how your body works & how nutrition works. No pills, no weird shit, just food. That in itself willl start to make sense but sounds like you need to be deprogrammed a little, be patient and let your body work like it wants to.

Also check the stickies at the top of the board for LOTS of great info!
