My thoughts are that it is probably not so much the HCG, but the diet that was involved. I really don't think HCG on its own would do enough. The first shot, you would get strong LH/FSH signals, and fairly high test production, but also if the shot is strong enough to produce enough test, E becomes a problem. So, you would have to have some type of anti-E at the very least to go along with it.
