Havn't lifted weights in 2 months now

I hurt my right wrist by either weight lifting or at work... I can't bend it back very far and now it's just starting to piss me off

Doc says it's probably just a ligament and took x-rays of my wrist just in case it was bone related (wasn't related). I have lost a lot of weight already (hard gainer) and I was just wondering....

Has anyone had a similar problem for a long time like this and it not healing? Did it just take a lot of time or did you do something to get it healing faster?
 
I missed 3years of lifting due to knee problems and lost all muscle I had worked so hard to get.My problem was I kept trying to train and only made things worse to the point of it being difficult to walk. Don't rush it,ask your doc about rehabing it to help with the healing process.See a different doc to see if he says the same thing.
