Orals get a bad rap when used alone on alot of boards especially this board, but we seem to think it is ok to use as a kickstarter and that makes it safe. How so? You can do all oral cycles if you dont use them for long periods of time and at high doses. What is this time lmit and dose i have no clue. it si different for each person.

I agree with you that they can be used safely, but very few people would probably go to the effort necessary to ensure 100% safety.

I would recommend this:

Have a full liver profile done before touching them.

Have the tests done every other week while on them....and if possible even every week. This will give a very good idea of how well a person's liver copes with them.

If the enzyme levels exceed the high end of normal, stop immediately.

Use moderate doses.

Don't use them for more than 6 weeks straight. Tread very carefully if using for longer.

I 100% AGREE.

Everything but sex in moderation is a good idea.

From my understanding elevated bili does not cause cholestasis it is the other way around. I see what your saying. When the common bile duct is comprimised by gallstones it causes the liver to not function as it chould therefore causing your bili and other liver enzymes to elevate, causing jaundice etc.... which in turn causes the itchy skin. i misunderstood what you were saying i guess. No need to be a dick head about it just talking about the subject so we can all learn. pruritis is caused by so many things. one of the more common cause I see in the ERs is uremia.

Simply put, if you've been taking oral C-17 alkylated steroids for over 2 months and suddenly you start going yellow and itching there is absolutely no doubt at all that you're suffering from drug-induced cholestasis which is causing elevated bilirubin levels in your blood.

These are the classic textbook symptoms that any doctor would know.

If a person wasn't taking oral steroids at the time, futher investigation would be necessary and physical obstructions such as gall stones could be implicated

If you guys want to play Russian roulette with your body chemistry, do yourselves a big favour and look past temporary muscle gains and learn something about the liver. When your liver has packed it in, so do you. You only get one liver; there's no such thing as a liver transplant.

I'm amazed nobody ever took the time to react on this part, because liver transplants happen all the time.

Luckely for you tropo, because if you get such a severe case of jaundice like you stated because of 30mg Dianabol - methandrostenolone - for 12 weeks, your liver was already in critical condition pre-cycle and you'll probably need it soon.

Perhaps you don't read too well. My liver enzyme levels are perfectly normal right now, as good as they can be...

It would be fairly obvious that if my liver has recovered fully AFTER my illness, it must have been ok before.

With an attitude like yours, you should start seeking out that new liver you may need down the track.

Good luck! You'll be the one needing it, not me.

Let's remember this is one mans experience. I don't think we can generalize that Jaundice or liver failure is an absolute outcome of oral steroids.
I keep my orals to a minimum. And over the years ,whatever elevated enzymes I had went away. Yes steroids are not good for your liver.
But your liver ,thank God, was designed for the long haul. Most of us do more injectables than orals, so I think your story is an excellent warning, but it won't deter me from taking them in the moderate, short-term, dosage like I always have.
Now if you will excuse me I'm going to go pop 20 mg of Dbol and go lift.
