Interesting point about social norms, etc. In this society, a lot of people view male homosexuality as "sissy," or whatever. If you do a little research, you learn that it wasn't always so. This is so true. In ancient Greek society only a man could be a "real" lover for a "real" man because women were considered inferior. Sexual activities among the soldiers was considered quite normal and desirable.

I think more women are willing to admit to these kinds of feelings because it's more socially acceptable right now. Give it another 50 yrs and things may change. Our grandchildren will certainly grow up with different social norms.
