Hard To Wakeup

It's really hard for me to wake up. The time of day, amount of sleep, etc has nothing to do with it. It's annoying as hell and if I could just get through the first couple minutes I would be fine.

Are there any supplements that you can take before you go to bed that help you wake up or is this something that is just the way it is?

I DO take Ambien ON OCCASSION when I have to be up early for work or I need sleep but waking up is the same either way.

here is what I do: put a 200mg caffeine pill next to your alarm clock. set it 15 minutes early (or however long it is for your snooze to go off)

wake up initially, take it, hit snooze, go back to sleep. in 15-20 minutes the grogginess will fade and you won't want to be laying there any more. helps me get to class all the time (I'm HORRIBLE at getting up when i'm supposed to)

I have done what chewy recommends
when I can remember to put the pills next to me the night before, it works great

you may be depressed, i had/still have a very hard time waking up, i feel like i got hit with a truck, but ive been on paxil for about a month now and i noticed it is *sometimes* easier to get out of bed.

200mg that's hardcore, I take like 50 to 100mg, and it works for me.

200 mg is equal to about 2 cups of coffee. That is not hardcore :)

At one point I was taking 9 trex a day

Bro,

I can't believe I didn't think of this before. This is a damn good idea. I struggle horribly with waking up for early morning cardio. This might be the fix I've been looking for. Thanks man.

K for that.

Definately not that. I don't have enough hours in the day to be depressed ;). really though, I stay busy. I've been going since 3:30am and I still have an hour or so worth of work to go.

keep a really bright light next to you that you can shine in your eyes for a couple minutes when you wake up.... that will wake you up... and has the nice side effect of raising test levels.... its called light box therapy (a very diluted form of it). also sleep with the blinds open, so some light (if your waking up mid morning) can shine through. I find its easier to wake-up on a bright summer day rather than the cold winter variety.
