for real though happy father's day bros.
and yeah, father's day is more special than mothers day. having a good dad makes all the difference in a kid's life. nobody has mommy issues, so long as they have a strong dad to counterbalance. but people get daddy issues all the time even witha great mom.
the male father figure is an important one

I'm being treated to a round of golf by my beloved son. Home for a nap then thick grilled ribeyes and homemade pecan pie! And I took tomorrow off from work. Awesome!

got up and had a couple of my favorite donuts that my kids had waiting for me, drank a little coffee (my girls didn't even get in a fight this morning..yay), went to church with the wife and kids, now i'm gonna work for a few hours, then a little cardio, then i'm gonna replace a couple of light switches that suddenly went bad for no apparent reason (i'll probably have a beer while i'm playing electrician

I got a card, some candy, and i slept on the couch last night. Havent seen my son today, baby momma/gf didnt wanna go get him last night and "wake him up" so she went to bar instead and i stayed home and slept to get to work at 6am. happy fathers day to me!

Yeah, but I suspect you and I get that anyway.
I don't keep up with anniversaries well. And I especially don't keep up with the corresponding gift (i.e. paper, straw, silk, silver, gold, diamond, etc.). So I like to declare just about any day our anniversary and you know what the gift is? Wood. Wood is always an appropriate gift.
so...not much. lol

1) i pride myself in having a blackberry full of anniversaries, birthdates, etc...and i always make sure to drop a card, email or text for each of them...even if im a little late once in a while...heck, i still give my wife something each year for the anniversary of our first date (10/21/1989)...it's usually something simple, like a couple of years ago, i made her a bunch of cd's of music from each year that we've been together...one cd for each, with that year's music on it
2) i don't know shit about that stuff either...and i think it's kinda dumb anyway.
