hanging leg raises...can u go to high?

hello- I've been able to do these leg raises up to the point where my body is shaped like an "L"- I've seen some do them up to where the body is like a "V" where there toes almost reach their actual hands-
is this too high? does it have any benefit to go this high- i know it is ALOT harder too though...thanks..

If your pelvis isn't tilting upwards at the top of the motion then you're not working your abs a whole lot. If you want something difficult start just below the the "L" then pull your legs up to make a "V" and bring your knees as close to your chest as possible then slowly down to just below the "L" again. If this is too hard try it with your knees bent at a right angle. Tell me how it goes.

True. A lot of 'leg lifters' are working hip flexors with little or no ab involvment.
