I have a few questions when it comes to hair loss and testosterone. I want to start off by saying I'm a 21 year old college student. I took testosterone enathate a year and a half ago. I took 250mg/ week and I didn't experience any hair loss from what I saw. I most recently took cyp last summer. I took 400mg/week. I ended that 12 week cycle in september of 08. I havent taken anything since then and just recently I have noticed my hair thining a little. My scalp is dry and itchy and I'm currently using Nizoral shampoo twice per week. I never had any hair thining or anything that looked like a receding hairline. The males on my mothers side of the family have no hairloss, however the males on my fathers side do. I've been told that you can be prone to hairloss from just one side of the family. I've asked my doctor before about hairloss and if it would happen to me and he told me from what he saw I didn't take after my father. I've been under a lot of stress lately with school and everything else. I stopped working out due to my workload in school and I must admit I became a little lazy as well. My diet also became poor. The thing is I started to notice my hair thinning only after I became very stressed. Could this thinning be caused by stress, poor diet, and a lack of exercise or is it most likely from the test? I have read that stress can cause hairloss and can be a major factor. I'm also thinking about seeing a dermatologist to see what he would have to say. I understood the side effects of test when I decided to take it so I know I have to accept the consequences. I'm just trying to narrow it down to see what I can do to prevent any further damage. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
