Hair loss (thinning issue)?

5%man

New member
Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct forum but hopefully someone can help or have advice... Ive been trying to read up the best i can.

Noticed hair thinning on top. Just got the midoxly 5% (rogaine) and Nixion (sp) shampoo.

I also now have fina. Does anyone here use this? Can this be used by itself or should it be supplemented with test? If so HRT or just when on / off?

I have heard good things and not so good things like sexual side effects that can be permanent. Of course im really concerned. Maybe a gamble. Possibly exemastane (aromisan) can help with gyno, swellling, limbido, etc effects.

1 mg a good dose or maybe start with 0.5mg?

Any insight is much appreciated. Thanks.

Finasteride is an anti-androgen (and like his name, inhibit the androgen effects, "good" for us also). Inhibits the DHT conversion (inhibit second type of 5-alpha-reductase, or 5-alpha DHT).

DHT is the reduce and active hormone for Test, so, if you inhibit this conversion, you're stopping the DHT action (DHT is 3 times more potent than testosterone). And if you inhibit Test (not exactly test, but DHT) you're stopping the AAS effects (if not all, an important part of the effects).

So, not use it. And sorry for my English.

I can only speak to thinning/loss of hair while on aas.

Some guys (and women) do not have this side effect no matter what they take.
Look at HHH and Edge, professional wrestlers. Others get this at even the mention of aas.
And of course, there is the under riding effect of genetics.

I simply accepted the thinning and loss. I see very few people escaping as the years roll on.
Cut it short and give it a bit of color to thicken the individual hairs.

Watch out for the women who grab you by the ears.

Ripped from another site - can't remember poster but I am going to try this for sure. This localizes the DHT blockers so you don't mess with your whole body - just your scalp.

Hair loss prevention?
Ok:

-Order the Nizoral shampoo, 100mg tabs of spironolactone, and Azelaic Acid cream
-empty 50ml of the shampoo (one bottle) into a bowl, and microwave for 20 secs
-crush 1gram of the spironolactone tabs (1 package of the 100mg tabs) into a FINE powder, and mix into the warm shampoo.
-Microwave again for 20 secs
-add in 1 tube of the azelaic acid cream and stir
-microwave for 15 secs
-add in 50 more ml of shampoo
-wait a moment, then microwave again for another 15 seconds
-Stir

Use this in the shower EOD. Wash with regular shampoo first, then put the mixture on for about 5 minutes and rinse. Do not get in your eyes, as the spironolactone is a STRONG Anti-Androgen.

This is a topical solution to blocking DHT and DHT related AAS from the hair follicle, in addition to regrowing new hair

Well, I do something similar like cmanser say:

*Use a shampoo with "KETOCONAZOL" (in Spain it's sold with the name: "Fungarest", I think that "Nizoral" it's the same).
*Use an Anti-DHT shampoo (like "Revivogen").
*Use Minoxidil.

Every day. This is a good "combo" anti-DHT, the only problem, and it's the same for the cmanser's solution is the "permeability" of the skin in your head... normally it's low and this is a problem because the "combo" can't do a lot... but something... I use it, and no stop ALL but something...

Good luck, and tell us your experience.

Cmanser, what's your experience with your "combo"? Tell us please. Thankyou.
