gyno surgrey down time

i think it would keep me away for a week most, id be trainin legs like a mofo

i hear a month or two, but i have no clue, bump for ya

i could bench a week later, but i also had gyno and lipo but kept it light for a month. doc said no working out for atleast a week or 2 and then whenever your body says "ok.."

I had it back in 2002.... I was back in the gym in a week...dicking around...not doing much....Didn't bench...as I was scared of stretching the Scarrs... You have to wrap your chest with this tight ass ace bandage...and can move as freely as you want..

I highly recommend asking the doc to remove 100% of the gland if possible.. since I paid for mine...I had no probs telling him I would be hitting the gym again...hint hint.. He still didnt totally remove the gland..."as if I had cancer"...he said.

I recently did methly test and was the only time I've felt any tenderness or puffyness.. was intersting as it wasn't at all in the areas where he removed...it was these small fat deposits around the nipple.... alittle arimidex...clomid and nolvy knocked that shit out..

Cost mt $5K even.... then called my insurance and told them it was inhibiting my job...pain....etc...they gave me back $2K...which was SWEET!!!!!

please recover then see doc, trust someone who has had the surgery

now is a good time to reavaluate your goals and make adjustments to your workout program while your in down time.

how long can I really expect to be away from the gym?

The problem is that you don't want to raise your blood pressure after surgery, it can cause bood vessles to rupture. I am having the surgery Wednesday and my Doc told me two weeks legs, four weeks upper body.

What is the "trick" to get insurance to cover Gyno Surgery? I've always had a mild case since my teens...

tell them your chest aches chonstantly and you have a family history of cancer. IF you have GYno then your all set, if you have floppy titties from being fat and lazy then the doc will tell you to go blow!

doctors can tell if you have TRUE gyno

I didn't have to do much really to get insurance to cover it. the specialist has a little loophole he uses, he claims the only way to be certan it does not contain cancer is to remove it and have a biopsy done.

on the money georgie. this is probably the fastest, cheapest and easiest way.

whole process done within 2wks, ins outpatient surgery 50 bucks.

plus got to find out i didn't have cancer to boot.

I have been talking to a few doctors about this .I have been stright up dont have any insurance just told them its cash pay .

I asked about the prep for the surgery right now.. The doctor told me to be off all steroids for atleast 3 months .To let the endocrine system return to normal allow all tissue shrink .It would make it less painful and a fast recovery to remove the gland and all actual tissue. Also said that being off all steroids for 3 months would allow blood levels to return to normal stopping any extra bleeding and scaring that may occur. Then once off 2 months to let the skin heal and rebuild elasticity. By folloing these steps he garanteed and gyno removal that would be not noticeable and look 100% perfect..

he claimed alot of guys have come in on roids get the surgery have lots of bleeding then 2 weeks later are back in the gym and have pump them selves up again and the insicions are forced back open over and over while they work out making scar tissue form...

So he suggested 3 months off roids pre surgery but still working out then 2 months after surgery (no roids)to allow the skin to health 100%..he said you dont have to lay in bed or anything just th efirst few days on pain meds .but keep the wraps on for awhile
he said it no big deal most guys lack in the leg department, so just work legs for 2 months while you recover then he chuckled...

6 months off gear sound real good to me anyways.

i am looking into this as we speak Its almost 4k cash but i think well worth it...
