Who else has had the surgery? Had surgery this week and just wandering how long before you guys started lifting again? Dr told me to just go ahead and take 6 weeks off curious if your Dr's said the same. I'm not in any pain at all and haven't taken any of the pain pills prescribed suprisingly.

i would say 3-6 weeks is standard for this type of thing. you can still do leg work and stuff like that

ive had it... i was doing cardio after 3 weeks and then the next week i was able to start lifting but you need to go with HOW YOU recover, not how me or anyone else did

3-6 weeks is the typical recovery time but DONT start lifting until the doctor has given you the green light. You can rip the stitches out if you start lifting too soon.

I would always be cautious and go with what the doctor recommended.
