Gyno surgery recovery

I'd like some info about the recovery after surgery. I'm not that excited about telling my friends and family I'm going to get my tits worked on, I'd like for it to be something I could do alone. Do I need a driver afterwards to take me home? How about the week after will I be all bandaged up? what all can I do or not do around the house ect.....?

id say its shoulder work they went in my your nip for. i have light gyno, keep working on it with serm's/AI's and so on so ive read into it a lot. A few threads i saw the guy said it was 1 day procedure and was back at work the next day. never mentioned driving.

are they putting you under? you should only really be going back to check ups and to have each one drained a few times.

Im not sure if they are putting me under or not. Im just researching rt now trying to get recomedations for a good surgeon in my area.

I'm on my second day after surgery. Had both nipples done. Gland and lipo. If you want fast recovery, low price, and more safety, only get local anesthesia. I felt amazing right after surgery, and next day feel like I could go to work. Very little pain. It's nothing.

Let me know if you want more info.

I would like more info. How was it overall? You said you were on your second day when you posted. Did you make a full recovery? How long before you can do day to day functions and how long before you can get back in the gym? I can take a couple weeks off from the gym if I have too but im worried about day to day stuff. Can you do this discretely without anyone knowing is my main concern. Im getting a friend to drive me but im hoping I can resume day to day functions the next day or two so I don't have to tell all my family im having my nips cut on. And how long do you have to wear a compression? Or do you?

Having it done in a couple days. I requested local anesthesia but he said i have a lot of tissue and he has to out me under. He said he can't do as good of a job just using a local. I also have to have drains for 3 or 4 days which sucks... I still hope the recovery is easy though. Ill let keep everyone posted.

I can tell you story of my friend after surgery story his chest was completely flat but after some days later it wasn't the same as it just after the surgery. So he went to the surgeon, but doctor assured him it is only swelling nothing else and it will take time to go.

I was able to train the day after the gyno surgery. (not very smart)
this lead to some small complications though.
The message I'm trying to give is that you'll be up on your feet in no time.
(and you wont be bandaged up, just some compress over each nipple, which you really can replace by a simple band aid by day 2 or 3.)
Everyone is different ofcourse, and there are different techniques, one were they're going in under the arm,
so you'll get less visible scarring. Mine led to scar on the nipple itself, (they went in directly) which is very difficult to see unless you know what to look for.
As for help to get home, well even though I didn't get full anesthesia I was drugged to the point were I couldn't keep my eyes open,
(this was my fault, I tried to get up during the surgery to see what they were doing)
and would not have been able to drive. Don't really remember much of that day at all.
Good Luck!
