gym et-a-kit question

i have been lifting at the same gym for over two and a half years, usually at about the same time every other day, talk and shoot the shit with several other regulars.

due to an extremely busy period at work and several out of town trips, i haven't been lifting at the usual time. i finally got back into the old routine and time period last week.

today, in walked one of my gym buddies i haven't seen for about 3 months, looking foikin' awesome!!! pumped up, huge and solid!!the dude had put on about 15 pounds of hard, low bf quality mass! i ain't just from creatine, i am sure.

would it be considered impolite or rude or bad form if i asked him what suppliments he has been taking? ( i am guessing fina/test/winnie) or is this just not done??
 
seriously, who gives a damn about the other guy-- I personally never talk to anyone in the gym but to myself. I came to workout... and i wanna train, achieve my goals, beat my personal records and get out. Life is easier that way :)
 
just dont imply that he is juicin, say "hey bro, what have you been taking to get you so ripped, I am gonna have to get some of that" in a semi-joking factor. If he wants you to know then he'll tell you. If not he'll say he has been taking his creatine.
 
I don't think he is asking because he is comparing himself to his friend or is jealous. Sounds like he saw the great results that his friend got and wants to do the same thing. Depends how close a friend he is, but go ahead and ask him.

you are correct, sir!!! he packed on some quality mass without any visable side effects: no zits, no facial bloating, no gut, just hard pumped mass.........gonna follow diabolical's line of tact the nest time we work out together at the same time.

rnch: haha! well, to me, when I see someone bigger, stronger than me, it motivates me to workout harder, from pure jealously and honestly I wouldn't ask him if he does juice or not-- think about it.... what if he does? are you going to try the same cycle as he is running? i'd rather not know.
 
If you already know him from before, just start talking normal to him and maybe catch a few workouts. It might come up in normal coversation.

But for me, I dont tell anyone, just because people talk, even though most suspect it, so from me you would get the creatine/myoplex/glutamine BS answer.

But if you said I have some test and fina trying to figure out how to take it, then you might get somewhere, because you are admitting first.

hell-- i was 150 pound skinny punk 2 years ago, and my highest weight was at 218, but gained way too much fat, so dropped down to 194 now-- but still ain't happy with my size because I do train with 240 pound bros. (who does nothing but the big three compound movements which made me realize that isolation movements does shit!) well... it may work for some advanced trainers-- but if you want mass-- gotta do the heavy weight brotha.
 
I find as heavy as possible with good form is the way to make progress. Anywhere from 5-8 strict reps and then get a spotter to assist with 3-5 more forced reps on upper body and 8-15 reps on legs yeilds the best results for me. Adequate food/protien and rest are also key. Bodyfat is based 80-90 percent on diet. You need to train chest back and legs to gain weight I agree. Focus on biceps and watch yourself grow 1 or 2 lbs.
