So im on my 3rd week of droppin bf% while tryin to maintain strength. I am on the sarms triple stack doing an hour of cardio and 45min lifting 5 days/wk. Im burning at a min about 1200 cals per workout.

My diet is mainly meats and veggies and taking in about 2200 cals/day. Im calculating my maintenance cals to be about 2800 day.

If I factor in workouts I am netting 1000 calories a day...so my question is... Am I starving myself? or am I going about this right? Strength is actually up a little and im down 6 lbs.

I am pretty sedintary during the work day, doing proj closeout and stuck at my computer.

What is your weight and bf?
Also i dont get your math, if u take inn 2200 cals? And burn aprox 2800 everyday+ 1200 from wo then you are 1800 deficit on wo days and 600 on weekends??

6-1, 210, 18%bf

well i may be describing this wrong as hell. what I was looking at is that I'm burning up so many calories during my workout, do I need to up my daily intake to account for that. if my workout(1200 cals) is over half of my daily intake (2200 cals), that leaves me 1000 cals for the other 22 hours of the day.

what got me thinking about this was the android my fitness pal app and it calculates ur daily intake by already backing out ur workout.l cals burned, so after my evening workout it shows me 500 cals for the day vs my maintanence calories of 2700. something just seemed out of whack.

basic law (which you already know) is that if you eat less calories then burned, you will lose weight... now the deficit can be tricky... the main thing you should concentrate on is eating a lot of small meals... eating something every hour or 1.5 hours to keep your metabolism going... even if its just a mere 100 calories... keep your metabolism going... i think a deficit of 500-800 would be sufficient bro...

yeah brother, i gotcha. i always get into this mindset that i'm pushing it close to under-eating and hindering my goals, but hey, strength is going up and weight is now down 7 lbs so it's workin. appreciate the help always!

thats the thing... there is no magic number or formula... i can give you averages and numbers and all that shit all day but you have to find what works FOR YOU... and if you've found it, then i don't give a fuck what any number or person says, that's what your body responds to and that's what will work for you... so if you are liking the results and its working, by all means, do what works for you... obviously, if your body tells you otherwise, listen... i don't need to tell you this, you already know that, but just listen and react accordingly! im glad that your making progress man!
