grocery list

My grocery list almost always involves lean meat (mostly chicken and fish), lots of veggies that are dark green and/or high in fiber (spinach, broccoli, cauliflower), brown rice, oatmeal if I'm out of it, almonds or walnuts, cottage cheese...and lots of junk food for my fiance because he doesn't eat the way I do. ;)

Chicken, veggies; these I buy daily or thereabouts fresh.
Rest of the stuff, oatmeal, tuna, almonds, these I buy in bulk from Costco which have opened a store an hour or so from my place in Tokyo. These guys rule, stuff is cheap, especially for Japan, and they even deliver for about five dollars...Yay for Costco.
But you know, eating clean and eating masses costs me less than I used to spend in the dark days of eating little but eating rubbish.

I don't always have the same grocery list, as I stockpile food..... I have a large pantry for dried goods + a basement + a refrigerator size freezer -- so I always have homemade sauces (like ratatouille, pesto), broths, dried pasta (WW), brown rice, canned beans, frozen veggies, all kinds of meat, frozen sweet potato fries, tortillas, fresh veggies, eggs, tuna, chix in the can, salmon in a pouch, pickles, cott cheese, all types of condiments, SF Jello, etc etc....
