go plat and search. There are plenty of these threads. Consensus is that you ignore and throw away. If you acknowledge it you can have probs. CLEAN HOUSE

With one post under your belt....... I dont know what you are talking about - What would you have ordered that would have gotten seized?

I'd bet it was international....if it was shipped via USPS and seized by Customs. Mail originating with in the USA cannot be opened without a warrant..

There is a grey area if the postal inspector has probable cause to suspect it contains something illegal....rarely would they open it...they would just get a warrant....Also has to be a Federal warrant...State warrants are not honored..

Remember that private companies like UPS...FED-ex...etc... can open any damn thing they want....

oila,

Dont buy on signature, accept gh - growth hormone (somatropin) -

Just disregard situation, customs have random check twice a year when they open all international envelopes.. unfortunately you fail into hole...

But they dont have any database about seizers and receivers...(you can check at customs and you will see)...nothing to worry about, just send digital copy of seizure letter include envelope to your shop and they will cover part of loss..

Just ignore and destroy the letter.

have a look in the legal forum for some more reassurance

Hi bro good to see you

Just meant get rid of it as worthless i.e. do not reply to it

You can throw it away, eat it, shred it, burn it, make a paper dart and launch from highest building etc etc LOL

thank for the info. it was international

Have a look here there are many that have recieved seizure letters

http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/bodybuilding-law/

Many International resend if you scan the notice in and mail it to them. I would advise you get a new addy to send it to though

Alternatively chalk it up as a loss

Good luck

Unfortunately with the updated Patriot Act, ALL first class, express and priority mail in the United States can now be opened WITHOUT a warrent.

If your source will reship your order email him a copy of to let him know and if not just throw it away and try to get you a domestic source.

Nahh... trust me... I deal with this almost once a week.. its a gray area...under "exigent circumstances" relating to foreign intelligence collecting... It was Senate bill 662....the wording was clear about still requiring a warrant to open any Domestic originating mail.....but it differed in Bush's signing statement...where he mentions exigent circumstances...and people being in immediate danger....

Its no different than getting into your car or home without a warrant under "exigent circumstances".....i.e..the police are chasing you and they see you enter a home with the murder weapon...they can come right on in...

Again....remember though... the bill was only relating to foreign intelligence/terrorist issues.
