My question is this, I need a good strategy for the keg carry. I have to load 5 full kegs in a truck 30 yards away. This is gonna be more of a conditioning test rather than a strength test. would it be a better idea for me to throw the keg on my shoulder and run with it or to just pick it up with both arms and carry it? keep in mind that this is a timed event and I can run faster with it on my shoulders rather than carrying it, but would the effort of puting it on my shoulder sacrifice much needed time?
Also for experinced persons, do you have any stratagies for these events as well....Iron cross, truck pull(pull with arms not runwith it), farmers carry(2x156dumbels), tire flip. Any advice is appreciated.
