Glutamine Peptides vs. Glutamine

My glutamine peptides just came in the mail today from DPS Nutrition. Shipped VERY quickly.. excellent service. But I have been taking glutamine for a long time and I am wondering if Ill see a big different with glutamine peptides?

Just wondering..

:D:D

From what I understand, the main difference between the two is that the peptides can be taken with protein, or in an MRP while you shouldn't do that with the regular. Is one more effective than the other?

I just switched about 1.5 months ago. Didn't notice a difference other than the fact that I could take the peptides WITH food (protein shake). Well, I did notice that peptides taste like shit (don't just mix 'em with juice)...Supposed to be much better though.

the free form of glutamine and the peptides use different pathways for absorption. you can mix either one in with your protein drinks, no worry about the nutrients "fighting" for absorption that is bunk...

Glutamine peptides have been shown in studies to be far more absorbable than l-glut....that in and of itself makes peptides superior!

I bought my peptides from DPS Nutrition from a brand called "AR Nutrition" ... I am not sure if I got ripped off or not. The glutamine peptides I bought are EXTREMLY crumbly and smell like choclate but theyre supposedly unflavored.

The nutrition facts say that you there are 20 calories per serving and 5g of glutamine peptides. It says that its not a significant source of protein, carbs, or fat. I am just kinda confused and hoping that I didnt get ripped off. My regular glutamine powder is basically a really pure white powder that I bought from Prolab, similiar in texture to creatine.

:confused::confused:

Mon...peptides are of a slightly different consistency than the L form, but your stuff sounds weird. Mine is off white and very dense...must be mixed in the blender or it won't absorb in the liguid. It tastes like crap if you just put the powder in your mouth...certainly not like chocolate!

My fault bro I didnt describe it right.

What your saying DEFINITELY sounds like it though! It doesnt really taste like choclate at all it just smells like choclate. Kinda.. my brother said it smelled like horseshit so maybe it doesnt smell like anything.. - its just thick and cant be mixed with water. Yeah its definitely dense though!

:sick::sick:

Fellas, I just bought some Glutamine Peptides today. My brand is also kinda sketchy...im wondering why the serving size is 4 scoops, while L-Glutamine required a tablespoon? I got a 2.5lb container for $40....if im gonna take spoonfuls, it will last me awhile. If im gonna take 4 scoops a day...i got ripped off. It doesnt taste too too bad though---its tolerable......and its not white....its light brown, supposedly wheat protein derived.

Just thought I'd throw in what the peptides from kilosports are like.

off white in color. like a flour consitancy.

doesn't mix in liquid will clump with alot of the clumps floating.

Taste is like cardboard not much of any flavor at all. I just eat it w/ a spoon no water. Sticky as hell like that but you get use to how to do it.

comes fotified w/ 33% calcium 1 tablespoon = 9 grams.

Johnny you got ripped off. don't buy supps from no name or little companys. the quatlity of the raw materials used are too questionable and I won't ever get into QA.
