GlucorellR...

It starts working as soon as ingested...but as for "seeing" results? Thats completely dependant on your diet and "seeing" the results never really happens since it's not a fat-burner IMHO. But I love the stuff.

that was going to be my response :o
really, effects of r-ala upon body recomposition are not evident/discernible, especially if you are already a well conditioned athlete. However, there is still a myriad of benefits ranging from the touted enhanced insulin sensitivity, to upregulation of AMPK, increased glutatione levels -> antagonism of TNF-proteins and suppressing oxidant synthesis, etc etc

definately worth a glance, even more so compared to other supplements :o

in all fairness, does this really apply to 90+% of the people that peruse the diet forum.. or most of the forums for that matter?

over time spent on these forums most people (men in this case) are at 10-12%+ many much higher... where recomp and carb effects will be more evident...

the higher the bodyfat and/or insulin resistance the greater the "fat loss" effect..

ie most people that need to cut carbs to lose fat will see good impact on fat loss.

as a note the animal studies showed significant fat loss (9% of BM) even in the lean insulin sensitive models.

from what i've read about GlucorellR you're muscles will benefit from the glycogen shuttling to the muscle rather than the fat. muscle endurance should increase from this. am i on the right track?

Not sure if I am understanding you...

You are saying the ones who browse the diet forum are the fattest? I would tend to think the opposite since since they eat better and are leaner thus Gluc-R would have the lowest impact.

And what is the criteria for a "well conditioned athlete"? (BF, BW, LBM, good cardio health, good diet, incredibily strong, etc..)

just curious so I know if it applies to me...

no, they are not the fattest. However those that spend time on the diet forum are very likely to be those that have difficulty losing fat (which also means a good chance of insulin sensitivity issues)...... people that dont have trouble loosing fat likely spend less time perusing the diet forum..... there are of course exceptions-- and in reality the comment was made in general to the forums. if you look through the posts 10-12% is pretty common and as with most things its often and underestimation.

as a note- the well conditioned athelete-- which is a vague term-- may or may not have insulin sensitivity issues (though odds are less likely)... however R+ lipoic (glucorell-r) will still help decrease fat mass through PPAR antagonism-- as noted in the animal studies... and of course the health benefits are exceptional..
