Glen Chabot benches 665 RAW!

I don't think so...

Powerlifting a waste of time... Powerlifting over-rated...

Haxedout you need to educate yourself. It is clearly a lack of understanding for you to make such an oversimplified claim. It's all well and good for you to compete as a bodybuilder and live that lifestyle but there is no reason to rip on powerlifting and powerlifters in general by trivializing the sport. You shouldn't make generalizations.

he weighs.. 308.... im at 205.. gettin 390 with ease.. no shirt.. no wraps , no arch...:p ;).. didnt meen to look like im bragging.. just saying i think power lifting is a waste of time...... and is overrated

Good for you!!! It is good to have an opinion. I used to feel the same way. It took me a long time to realize how much of an art powerlifting really is. To see a 1,000+lb squat really is a true art of beauty and perfection...once you realize what it takes to squat that much. It takes perfect technique.

It is good that you can bench 390 in the gym...but gym lifts don't count towards a single record or title...or anything. There are tons of good gym lifters...but very few good contest lifters.

390 @205 huh? That is pretty good...wonder what that would get you ranked as?

Like Chuck V, Amy Weisberger, JM Blakley, and George Halbert?

Just messing with you...but those deeply rooted into powerlifting know better. Look at the Florida guys on here...don't think any of them are fat. Look at powerlifterjay...he is far from fat.

Me...I like being fat though:)
