GH and alcohol consumption. Dangerous?

I used 2IU/day for a month, and then increased to 4IU/day gradually over the next two months.

I've reduced my sodium intake, but not enough. I am very careful not to eat within 2 hours of pinning.

However, I haven't completely eliminated alcohol consumption.

I only drink heavily once per week on weekends, if that, but I make it count when I do. Throughout the week I'll have a big drink or two with lunch or dinner once or twice, but only enough to catch a buzz.

Overall, I probably average 20 units per week (where 1 unit is 15ml of ethanol).

I notice my bloat gets much worse when I drink, and no matter how much I increase my potassium and decrease my sodium, the bloat does not completely go away.

It does ameliorate though.

(You'd think booze would help bloat, since it's a diuretic, but it also depletes potassium.)

I've looked it up, and I see nothing that indicates gh and ethanol are contraindicated, but just to be safe I never pin when there is any booze in my system.

Still, I can't shake the feeling that I'm being reckless, so the purpose of this thread is to ask about dangers I may have overlooked. Flame away.

Background info:
I started gh the same time I became active again at the gym. My gains have been good, but I assume that his little-to-nothing to do with gh, based on the duration of use and the relatively low dosage (described above).

One thing I'm worried about which I plan to change today is my neglect of cardio. My VO2 max sucks (did I mention I smoke?). I haven't put on any body fat, but I haven't lost any either. I'm still at ~20%. I got concerned last night that I'm stressing my heart. My whole life I was naturally at 10% BF. In the last few years that doubled. MY BP is normal-ish (125-130/75-80) but I'm still worried that my cardio-vascular system doesn't meet the spec for my current body comp.

Advice and flames are appreciated in advance.

No matter what product you're using, I suggest you stay away from alcohol. That's not a healthy habit if you trying to change your life.

You've kind of answered your own question. You suspect alcohol is contributing negatively to your body composition and you're probably right. Alcohol is a nutritionally worthless toxin. The human body prioritizes eliminating alcohol at the expense of most all other metabolic activity including fat metabolization.

Is it dangerous to the degree the landlord is going to find your bloated body from mixing alcohol/GH? No, but going from 10% to 20%bf is a clue that something isn't working and your suspicions are probably right.

Stop drinking and smoking if you want to be a bodybuilder plain and simple

I have to agree. Regardless of what we try and do,,,the ultimate goals is to take
care of our health. Living healthy really is a lifestyle change.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.

I'm not trolling, and my goal is not to be a bodybuilder either, but instead just to be in good shape.

With that said, I should probably worry about my health as much as my shape, so I've decided to cut out the sauce. Once or twice a month I'll allow myself to have a few pops with friends, but that's it.

As to the smoking, I know I need to quit, which is easier said than done. Eliminating alcohol consumption should help with that, and I plan to see my MD about some buproprion and nicotine replacement to help further.

Thanks for the replies.
