today started my workout with a makeshift band setup. used the old red bands from the aerobics room and looped em around the squat rack for some band resisted squats.
myself:
315+ band for sets of 3
gf:
85+ band for sets of 12
(she usually squats 135 for 8)
I hit some high reps sets of leg presses
then took her into the aerobics room for some walking lunges into box squats.
she hit 3 sets of 100 ft with 40 lb bar, immediately into 10 reps of box squats with an actual pause to release the hip flexors
immediately into a set of band leg curls
then we finished up with band pull throughs.
all in all a fun day. its fun to have a girlfriend who isnt afraid to squat(no pun intended), work hard and sweat buckets.
speaking of her sweating buckets....gotta go. she caught me writing this.
