Added another 20lbs to my squats. A week ago i was at 165 now 185 and leg press was at 270 now 360. Strength is increasing rapidly. I guess i must be doing something right! Sorry not much of needing help. Just needed to brag a little lol

Nice work, keep killin it!

Im glad your improving, but dont forget that the higher you go the harder it is. So you must continue to learn more, and work harder to keep making progress. Goodluck and dont forget to eat like the man you want to be, not the man you are.

So if im on cutting is it safe to say. Lower weight more reps and lighter on the carbs but keep protein up? Is that the general idea?

Yes generally speaking but your in the early stages. Just eat big and lift big. You have plenty of time to cut later. Right now you need to take advantage of those beginner gains. My first month of lifting my bench went up 50lbs. Now 50 lbs can take years to acheive and may never happen.

If you eat high quality lean protein, moderate carbs and good fats you wont get fat.

this is from my personal experience but if you put too much weight on the bar each week you will injure yourself. might be different for you but im just saying, dont go balls to the walls insane on putting weight on the bar.
