Hi all,
I’ve been sick as a dog since Feb 10th and have been out of the gym since then. I'm starting to feel better but I know I’m still weak. I noticed running up the stairs this morning winds me.
When the symptoms started I stopped taking the supplements (creatine,l-glutamine, flack seed oil, ephedra/caffeine pills) I followed most good advice of plenty of fluids, vitamin C, lots of rest, etc... I had no appetite but would force myself to eat. I didn’t eat like I was before and my protein intake was probably cut down 75% of what I was consuming before.
I've lost 8 pounds
which could be mostly water but I do feel im weaker. What should be my game plan for getting back into the swing of things? Should I wait until I feel 100% to get back to the gym? How long should I "ease" into things before I get back to my normal intensity?
