Getting a STD from oral sex

Just curious are there any STD's you can get from giving oral that are NOT cureable? I actually like eating girls out, but I've heard you can catch certain stds from it.

Sides, even if her pussy doesn't smell, you still don't know what your diving into.

Anyone know which ones you can catch. And if any of them are not cureable?

Are different types of herpes transferrable. I.E. if someone had herpes and you went down on them would you get a cold sore? And vice versa, if you have a cold sore and go down on someone will they get genital herpes? I know there are the different types of herpes, (type I, type II and what not) and I've always wondered this.

Herpes can spread anywhere there is a mucous membrane or open skin, a cut for example. However Herpes2 usually stays on the genitals and Herpes1 usually stays around the mouth.

I just went over this in class. Im in Nursing School. Yes, herpes can spread to any mucous membrane, even into the anus. There is no clear information saying herpes 1 or 2 is above or below the waist. That was kind of a 'back in the day' explination. Bottom line... she has herpes, you eat her out, you may get herpes.

I have read that you can spread herpes 1 from oral to genital contact. However, when I asked my doctor about this he said that you it wouldn't happen. Somebody get some head from a girl with a cold sore and let us know if you develop genital herpes.

i dont think that there is any viral load in the semen. not saying its related but would need further investigation
