Germany pussies out...

The best thing about the Germans not fighting is they might decide not to leave. Kinda like eating macadamea nuts. After you eat a few you realize "Hey, these aren't that bad!"

Jeez guys, give 'em a break. How much friggen help does the US need to take over one tiny and starved country? Wow Germany isnt joining in, big fn deal. I don't think Germany has anything to offer that the US wouldnt already have.

That being said, I'm a German and am proud that Germany is staying out of this.

Anyone have a complete list of countries with us?

I didn't hear anything about Japan but they found documents stating Hong Kong was a target so I assume they're with us.

Hong Kong is a part of China, not Japan

I don't understand that.

It was my understandng they were one of our closest allies...?

It's also my understanding that they got their asses kicked one too many times and besides they made a habit of being on the losing side. So when they have chance to be on the winning side, they are going to have to decline.

I guess it's too much to expect that all our closest allies would remain tight with us in order to display one incredible fortress of force-and although noone is ever surprised by France's consistent ability to display world class cowardice- I'm surprised at Germany. The point that we don't need additional forces isn't relevant. The relevent point is that a massive united front tends to intimidate-Even if Germany sent 10 soldiers, it would show support. Now they're just another signal of potential weakness to the opposition.

Does Germany even HAVE an army of any size? I thought they were like Japan, with only a token force not capable of doing anything.

I also thought their constitution prohibits them from deploying a military forces in other countries. Is this correct?
