Its not right to sell access to our IP addresses!! Chairman of the Board can view member's IP addy's by paying you to get that status. Something rotten in Denmark!!
And anonymizing is slower, not as slow as dialup

As I pause to think about it, I have to believe that they shouldn't even be available to mods or even to admins on a whim.

For a site that prides itself on its protection of its members and offers itself as a bastion of security against the 'Powers', to have members' IP addresses freely floating around in plain view of other members, mods or otherwise, is a clear violation of the trust we've invested here.
