FUK! Never going to Oklahoma EVER again

Went to visit my 2 lil' brothers.
Got arrested .... TWICE.
There was NOTHING to do there. Plus, they hate my brothers because they ran from a jail there and now the police hate them. It's a REALLY small town and I guess the police don't forget about stuff like that. Now, they just look for them and try to arrest them for stupid stuff. It sux. They need to move.
And I need to never go back to Oklahoma.
Maybe Indians hate me or sumthin. I don't know. I'm cool with them. Its not like I'm a pale-face or sumthin. Fuk.
 
The first time was for NOTHING! I was just in a car with my 2 brothers. They got pulled over for speeding and the Clinton fuzz took us all to jail. They said "suspicious behavior" and my 2 lil brothers are both out on parole. The 2nd time, my brother's PO came to the house to "check in" and he started scanning serial numbers on all of the electronics. One of the computers came back as stolen. I said it was mine. My lil bro said he bought it from an indian in town. If my brother would have claimed it, he would have got an automatic 5-7 years for a parole violation... so I said it was mine. FUCK!
 
OK, let me sum this up so I understand.

I got arrested 10 times for nothing;
Stolen property speeding, possession of stolen property, dumb out of season, hanging around people on parole with stolen property speeding.

There was nothing to do;

I went out to town after the trailer door blew off and we raced through town AND
I said the shit my dumbass brothers ripped off and were stupid enough to keep in the car with a ton of other shit they stole and went way over the speed limit even though ALL the cops know them and hate them. PLUS they are all on parole doing this

I should stay locked up in my room after I get out of jail for possession of stolen property and being with dumbasses.

Now did I miss something or am I just stupid? I thought Sulphur OK was bad.....
 
Sounds like your brothers aren't quite as innocent as you make them out to be...in my experience cops don't randomly start picking on model citizens.

The need to move...they'll always have scrutiny if they stay in that area. Hopefully they keep their noses clean in their new location, or it'll be more of the same before long.

You are right about 1 thing, I should have stayed in my room.
There wasn't anything stolen in the car. No drugs. Not speeding. NOTHING. Just arrested. The cop said he recognized my brother and "thought he was up to sumthin". They released me after about 2 hours. They kept me long enough to make sure I wasn't wanted in another State. No charges.
The stolen property was at their house. It was a laptop my brother bought from an Indian at a reservation.
I think the Indian stole it and my brother was just an idiot for buying it.
BTW- Clinton doesn't even have a Walmart. It is so small, they have one grocery store. Since my brothers just got out of jail, they prolly need to move ..... if they really want a fresh start. The police all know and hate them there.

You are correct. They are FAR from innocent, however, they served their time for the dumb prank they pulled last year. Now, the police just remember them. They are 20 and 21. Young, dumb.
They need to move to a new location and find something positive to do.

Yup, or not gone with them and hung out at the Montana Mikes, at least you could have had some fried breaded mushrooms and a couple margaritas.

But if you brought your brothers they probably would have accidentally robbed the place and got you shot.

Well you only have to out run them, the problem is, where would you stop? The end of the street where Officer Bubba Brown was standing?

Oh well, next time come on over here we are only a few hours from there anyway. Give or take a day.

We don't have police around these parts that say anything to the old kininor me except 'morning ma'am or 'morning sir..

I can't remember the last time my parole officer stopped by......

YES and I am SOOO sorry. They kept me for over 2 days ... the second time. That's why I didn't answer.
Right now, I'm gonna go with JFN2 to pick up his daughter from my ex-best friend (u know tha deal).
But yea, after that, I'm all urs.

You can bring em, but also bring a couple of nice black suits incase they piss me off. We carry our own punishers here at the GrumpMom rancho.

Or they can work around the yard with a couple chains on their legs so as they don't wanna wonder over yonder and get plugged by the neighbors

My parents were both from Oklahoma. I sure am glad they got the hell out of there before I was born.
 
My mom was from Muskogee. I've been there many times. I will say this -- they picked a fairly pretty piece of land to build a crummy redneck town on.

I don't know if you remember but I am adopted. They were adopted,2... but to people in Oklahoma instead of Missouri. I have only seen them a few times in the last 18 years or so. The last time I actually LIVED with them, one was 3 and the other was 2. I have a sister (older than them) at an unknown location.
My dad doesn't like that I went. I understand. But I understand why I went,2.

Tell your brothers to stop commiting crimes that get them throw into prison. Indian Cops and Jails are no place to fuck around with. I've read reports. Crime is unbelievable there.

Your other choice is move out. Balls in your court.

I agree 110%. One is moving by the end of the week (to Missouri) and the other is moving to another city in Oklahoma (Tulsa).
Even if they DID keep it together from now on, they are HATED there. Even if they don't get arrested, a town with maybe 15 places to work(total) is NOT going to hire them because they recognize them. Small towns and crime =s bad news for change.
They were arrested for a stupid prank(they were acting like 12 year olds) and made the problem worse bc they ran off from a jail while on a work detail. The cops had to chase them around and hunt for them. Not good in a small town.

The one moving to missouri wants to join the army. I hope his record won't hurt him. One of my brothers has a few felonies from all of this but the one wanting to joined the army was able to get all of the charges "deferred" or whatever bc it was his first time in trouble.

People DIE in the army. It's not always a solution especially if yo don't want to DIE for reasons that may not benefit you. Just be careful about that choice (and btw: there are other military services).

Set goals in life and then go get them. Otherwise a troubled lost youth now, will be a troubled lost adult later.

Many good points. He is a computer tech and also wants to go back to school. I was thinking he could do something with that when he moves here.

Pursue that. He'll make more money at age 30 with marketable skills than having no skills. Especially if it's something you enjoy doing.

I went to basic in lawton Oklahoma and it was a shit hole. Went to Ait in VA and it was a nice place. Airborn and rip training in Ga and loved it. Then spent the next 4 years in Italy. First year was fun, last 3 sucked lol

That's what my dad did in 1942.

Well, he was drafted, but still it may have been the best thing that ever happened to him, since it got him the hell out of dust bowl Oklahoma.

My dad was FROM Lawton, but in the 1940s they sent him to Ft. Chaffee in Arkansas for training. Anyway, if Lawton was a shithole when you were there, imagine it in the 1940s. A good place to get the hell away from.
