On one hand your bro should have never started selling drugs--- not a good game. On the other hand it is very out of whack to get a felony for selling a few Os here and there, being treated like a significant threat to society.

Think of it this way, if he was a Senator or Congressman he could get away with going to some fancy drug rehab program and all the publicity required for re-election!

Nate Newton (ex-dallas cowboy lineman) got caught with 250lbs of marijuana in his van. Did a short stint on probation and in rehab. Gets caught again with even more and gets sentenced to like 6mos time served. I don't remember the exact details of it except for the amount of dope.

Are you sure that was the final outcome of this? I remember hearing Newton moving outragous amounts of weed, then gettin busted again week or 2 later, but never heard the outcome. There was definately something fishy and weird goin on there.

He pretty much got a slap on the wrist and had to go back to rehab from what I remember. I could be wrong but it shouldn't be too hard to find on the net.
