Okay I have been working out for a while (7 months) 5'10 and 160 pounds. I can't lose weight to save my life. I go to the gym 4 days a week and do 20 minutes of cardio on the same days. I max out on my arms and legs when I go to the gym. My diet is clean 1600 to 1800 calories a day my intake is 48% protein/34% fat/18% carbo's.

My job I sit on my ass 80% of the day, I work out in the evenings and end up eating dinner some where between 8:00 and 9:00 at night go to sleep around 11:00.

What in the hell am I doing wrong, can someone suggest a training routine???? Anything, encouragement????

Damn this is frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
with that diet you should be loseing weight like mad,i take it you have mainly fat and thats what you want to get rid of?
maybe increasing your cardio will help? something like 40-45 mins 4 times a week give that a try and see how it works
 
I will take any advice, I have about 20% body fat carry it all on my hips and ass. It's depressing!!!!!!

I think after the age of 26 your body decides that the law of gravity and fat has set in.

The day after I turned 26 I swear I started gaining fat. Good-bye nice tight perky ass to hello let's fall to the ground and eat some cottage cheese....

I'm a little bitter today!!!!!!!!
 
Stay with it Bro i sit around at work and train in the evenings also but i eat a light dinner 1hour before i go training and just have a shake when i get in shower then go to bed.
What are you eating after you finish training that could be the problem.

I eat dinner about an hour after I get back from the gym. (If it makes any differnce I am female)

I keep updating my profile, but it never stays....

Am I supposed to eat after a workout, I don't want take in any more calories or carbs...

I'm also on this PPA stuff that hasn't helped either...

My advise would be to go to the womens board and speak to jenBFLchick i now she is doing realy well with her diet and looking great (miss ya jen)
They will know better as to what you need to do in my opinion your fat intake it too high.
